Dr. Mirza completed his education at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. He began his professional career in Philadelphia as an associate dentist working along-side the crown and bridge Department Chair. It was here that he learned every aspect of general dentistry and built his patient relationship skillset, which would be invaluable to him as his career progressed.
He furthered his skills by completing a General Practice Residency at St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson, New York. Following his experience, he desired to progress his skills in Oral Surgery further; and completed a one-year Oral Surgery internship at Long Island Jewish Hospital. There he worked along-side oral surgery residents and gained extensive knowledge in extractions, implants, and dental trauma.
Most notably, Dr. Mirza is mentored by Dr. Lotardo: one of the top dental professionals on Long Island and recognized as past president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has thrived in this working partnership and continues to build his clinical skills alongside his distinguished mentor.
Dr. Mirza is a native of Pakistan but a longtime resident of New York since age of 2. He enjoys outdoor activities, such as basketball, and quality time with family and friends.
